Pipewell Hall Engagement Shoot

IMG_4546

One of my most anticipated weddings this year is Vicki & Leon’s wedding at St John Church at Cranford, then retreating to Pipewell Hall for the wedding breakfast and reception. I grew up in the next town to Pipewell so have been driving past Pipewell Hall for many years, always inquisitive to what this impressive 17th century building and grounds had to offer. Fortunately Pipewell Hall is now one of Northamptonshire’s premier wedding venues which has now given me the ideal excuse to explore this stunning venue, and it doesn’t disappoint.

We arrived at Pipewell Hall on a chilly Sunday Morning, but the temperature and threatening skies were not going to stop us from exploring the extensive grounds. Boasting manicured gardens, a lake, and mature trees, Pipewell Hall really spoils you with opportunities for wedding photography. After a brisk walk round the grounds we were greeted with an open fire in the entrance hall, which lead us onto the main Hall. A wonderful light hall with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the grounds with an ornate fireplace. To give some variation in the shots we used a window on the dark stairs to create a low-key portrait of Vicki & Leon, a shot that will work really well on their wedding day.

Role on May, hopefully with some better weather, so that we can fully exploit this gorgeous venues photographic potential.
